Despite its age this and her earlierbook "Hands of Light' must still be the best reference books for understanding the Human Energy Field. Having had Healing Touch Therapy these books provided fabulous support to help me understand what is happening at both an energetic and spiritual level - whatever your perspective (one and the same in actual fact). Both these books come off my book shelf regularly and continue to be a source of exquisite knowledge. They are a gift.

Barbara Brennan is obviously a very gifted healer but it is my opinion that her writings are over-rated particularly in this day and age where more healers have come to the fore and seem at least to me to have a greater gift for the written expression. Neither “hand of light” or “light emerging” are great books although they are written by a great healer. Used with your own intuition and cross-referenced with more detailed sources they can be useful.
