well. what to say about this book. the tv show is great and very entertaing but the book? not quite the same. great for younger people very keen on their health and with access to alternative food sources and outlets. for eg she speaks of spirulina and many things you have never heard of before that she reccomends you to eat. if you have the time and energy to find all these non mainstream foods go for it! still great book nonetheless... just not parctical for everyone
I found a lot of information about the nutrition of food useful. However her all or nothing approach was a bit too unrealistic for thew average persons lifestyle. If you want to learn stuff a good read. However if you want to adapt your lifestyle instead of becoming a mung bean then this isn't a book for you.
I purchased this book some time ago.
I personally didnt like it very much. I fyou like your meat this is not the book for you. If you like your meals to be simple andeasy to prepare then soaking all those beans for 24 hours isnt going to suit your lifestyle
I just found that the book did not really contain what I was looking for and therefore would not recommend it to most people unless they were looking for those tips explicitly.
I think that you need to be prepared to have a lifestyle change not just a diet with some fad tips
