I was given this book and think it is great. It goes through month by month what to expect from your child. It is really easy to dip into if you are worried about something - or if you have 30 minutes to sit down and read the relevant chapter. It is reasuring, and comforting to know that every child goes through what your child is going through - and that it is perfectly normal.
I bought this book because I loved "what to expect when you're expecting", and I was not disappointed. Pregnant women usually read so much about pregnancy and labour to be as prepared as possible, that it is great to then have a reference to turn to once that little baby is home from the hospital! This book is concise, clear and aleviated many concerns I had (both large and small) as a first-time mum. I found myself referring back to it again and again as the year went on. A great resource to have on the bookshelf.
I found this book to be an invaluable resource. There are some many little things and questions you encounter with your first child, and this book had the answers. It was helpful to follow along month by month and see what things your baby might be able to achieve soon, if not already. I really recommend this book to first time parents.
