This is a really valuable book if you are looking for new ideas in raising your family. The author suggests very simple but thoughtful ideas to enrich your children's lives. A refreshing change from all the commercial rubbish that is thrown at you. The emphasis is on valuing the child and appreciating creative elements of daily life.
A beautiful book full of practical ideas and inspirational ways you can be creative yourself and with your children. The kind of book you read and it makes you feel excited about simplifying your life and including more joy in interacting with your children. Covers most areas of creative endeavour indoors and outdoors. A pleasure to read - it felt like a pamper session!!!
I enjoyed reading this book. There are lots of fun ideas for crafts and family activities to try out, some of them quite original. I really liked the "banging wall" idea and if we had a larger yard would definitely give that one a try. The only turn-off for me was all the talk of celebrating the earth. Overall a nice book to have.
