Brilliant book. The best parenting book i've read. Based on science, without being technical, its an easy to read parenting book. It describes what research has demonstrated about the best parenting methods and the impact on the child now and later on. He writes in a very easy to read, parent friendly language and really understands the heart of the parent. From baby to an older child you will learn so much and it will make you a better parent!! Perfect if you are a conscious parent, wanting to make deliberate choices about how you parent or just want to do the very best thing to grow your child into a well adjusted adult!

This is a fantastic book and should be compulsory reading for every parent. Covers prenatal development right through to parenting your toddler. Lots of research based information (a lot of it proving what some parents have known for years!) Discusses how our own childhood often shapes the way we parent and ways to overcome obstacles in a win- win situation. LOVED it!
