This book made me laugh and made my pregnancy more enjoyable. I found I was not alone and it gave me the opportunity to laugh at all the weird and wonderful things happening to my body. Fantastic Book.
I fell pregnant when I was 18 and I bought this book quite early in my pregnancy. I was SCARED out of my wits and this book was so helpful in helping me to understand what was happening to my body. Its great to read a pregnancy book that is written by a mother that has been through it all, not some twit who thinks they know all there is it know about pregnancy because they studied it. I highly recommend this book it really is great
This book is Fantastic. Because this was my first pregnancy, I wanted to learn as much as I could, but not be bored doing it!! This book covers that.
It is a really funny, light-hearted book, but provides a lot of the essential information that I wanted to know when I began reading it.
Definitely a recommended read, especially for first time mums-to be!
This book is not for those people who want detailed medical information about pregnancy. It is good for people who want an overview of pregnancy week by week, and who would enjoy reading a fictionalised account of the author's pregnancy. Since the book is by an Australian author, it is a lot more relevant to NZ than the American books.
If you are going to only buy one pregnancy book, make it this one! I really loved the book, it was the perfect read and I read a chapter each week of my first pregnancy. I found it a very light humour, and it only talked about the essential things you need to know in pregnancy.
This book is definitely different from other pregnancy books. I like Kaz Cooke's writing style, it's very light and easy to read and she uses plain and simple language that everyone can understand. This is a very funny book and once I started reading I just couldn't put it down. Great present for all pregnant women!
I found it to be really demeaning of some parenting alternatives without looking at them properly. As someone in her second pregnancy I found the book belitttling. 1.5/5
This is a pretty funny book, my cousin owns it (I bought it for her when she was pregnant). I've read through it once or twice and really really enjoyed it. "Up The Duff" has a quirky wit about it. I got quite a few laughs from this one. Wasn't really interested in the sensible stuff in it though.
Funny, funny, funny. Well written and gave you a smile when you probably shouldnt be smiling. She made pregnancy sound so funny and relaxed. Throughly enjoyed this book and the way it was set out. Loved the way it measured the length of baby and the information it gave, and there was lots of it. Fantastic book
