For all people, new to it, or with years of spiritual searching behind them - this book offers a straight forward, plainly written explanation for why and how 'living in the now' is so important. I find him thought provoking, no nonsense and realistic. I have given this book to my family friends and keep a copy by my bed - if you think are interested, buy it!

This book is a real eye-opener! The author explains in easy to read language about what we do to cover up our real 'selves'. It will give you insights into yourself that you would not normally ever think about and challenges your beliefs. Simply amazing and a must read!

Eckhart Tolle's book "Awakening to your life's Purpose" is one of the most intelligent books I have ever read, and I have read many on this subject. He writes straight to the point where one can easily understand what he is speaking about. I thourougly recommend this book to everyone of all ages, all faith's. It has brought me so much
more understanding as why I am here, and it is a great read.

I enjoyed reading this very informative book on awakening.

Eckhart Tolle has given a very clear explanation regarding in the
'Power of Now' of what it means to live in the now rather than dwelling on the past and or looking into the future.

This book represents muddled thinking of trendy new age kind. It is deceptive, dangerous and misrepresents bible content. To quote:

"First, people must realize that Tolle is a master of double-speak and self-contradiction. On the one hand, for example, he will assert that there is neither absolute good/bad, nor absolute right/wrong— but then he will go on to tell everyone what is absolutely good/bad and absolutely right/wrong per his own views. He will also allege that anyone who claims there is only one way (or one truth) is blinded by ego, illusion, and false beliefs—but then he will go on to inform readers/listeners of his own “truths” per his own ideas and absolute interpretations of the Bible. He uses this same technique when it comes to the question of whether or not other religions are compatible with his teachings. He will claim in one breath that his teachings are totally compatible with other faiths, but then when it comes to Christianity, for instance, he will go on to advance beliefs that are totally incompatible with what has been established as the foundational views of Christianity."

Well what can I say? Here's some transformative thinking that translates the messages in many spiritual disciplines or religions into language and clarity that is immediately accessible to our "floppy and distracted western minds" without the baggage that can come with religious ideology.

Great journey or finding true self book on looking at your egos and what control they have on you.
