Whilst I don't think this is as good as "Where's my hero" it is still a very pleasant anthology. Stephanie Laurens' story about Reggie Carmarthen, who helps Anne find the lost family of an orphan, is the weakest. There is the barest bones of a story and the 'romance' is very contrived. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Boyle tells a rather silly story about James Reyburn, who finds his love through the tricks of a matchmaker. There contrivance of the plot is a bit daft but the relationship and tension between the two main characters is exciting. To my mind, the best offering is from Christine Dodd who tells the tale of how spy Harry Chamberlain finds his love. This story has great humur, romance and excitment. A nice, light read.
