This book is just as funny as the first! Cackled the whole way through.

The witches really came into their own in this book, the good ones were awesome and are a rather large part of the very busy Hexed plot. The nasty demon type witches were also a good addition and bring up the disgusting level with their deplorable acts with the escaped demons from book 1.



A group of Bacchants also sneak in from Vagas and create some mayhem for the witches and Atticus, and the witches see no problem making these new additions the Druids problem to deal with. Even his trusty (and awesome) sword will be of no use to him.


Atticus and Oberon are still the best parts of the books, and their relationship develops even more, and gets better all the time. His relationships with the other minor characters is also fleshed out more, especially with Leif (BAMF) and their fight scenes with the nasty demon-witches.



There is an encounter with Coyote and Mary which are very well written and exceptionally funny, especially the crack about Jesus and beer (not what you think). Very clever how they got Mary to come down to the normal folks, and she was definitely cool.

Had a good laugh at the whole 'ear' situation

And this book has a rocket-propelled grenade launcher! Hard to top that.

Really good, super funny book. This series may take the crown as my favourite comedy series!
