This book is fantastic for anyone who loves sewing and designing their own clothes, but may be a little sloppy in some of the details. It has very easy to read instructions, with plenty of illustrations to clarify points of detail. It contains plenty of information on pattern cutting, altering, finishing touches and copying existing garments. I found this book to be a fantastic reference and really helps sharpen up the look of home sewing projects.

I have been sewing for nearly 40 years and wish I had this book years ago. Full of lots of helpful tips and tricks.

definitely lives up to the title! step by step instructions are fabulous. if only they invested more in the cover, (kinda looks cheap) this book is a must for everyl fashion students.
