This book is wonderful and very very helpful! I love my protein, but had no idea about how to make a healthy protein meal. Well now I do. This book is great for anyone interested in losing weight but still eating protein. Gives you many low fat recipes that are delicious!

I was very excited to receive this book but then disappointed that it has no photographs whatsoever in the whole book. As a beginner cook you need photos to show you how the dish should look and, in my opinion, all cookbooks should have photos. All in all I was not happy with this purchase and as yet have not attempted 1 recipe from it-because it is just plain boring to look thru. (no photos to tempt you).

this book is high protein - but not the atkins way - it stays low fat and does allow for some carbs here and there. A good balance of vegetables, and they are made to look interesting too, which always helps. Helpful hints on sauces and stuff like that make your meals less mundane but not much more calorific. Worth a buy if you are trying to figure out how to do the high protein thing in a healthy way.
