"Chuck and Suzette have succeeded in creating a fun, easy-to-follow guide to home massage. The book covers everything from creating a safe environment to a full massage routine with basic strokes. Written for beginners, it's guaranteed to enhance your family life, as you discover the joy and happiness of healing touch." -Thomas Nani, founder, Earthlite Massage Tables "Human beings are genetically wired so that touch is one of the five senses of the body. The function of touch is not restricted to providing tactile information about our surroundings, but to also serve as a source of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Massage is a very special form of touch and under the right conditions is conducive to intimacy and bonding, as well as being medically therapeutic. Co-authored by Suzette Hodnett and Chuck Fata, Home Massage: Transforming Family Life Through The Healing Power Of Touch applies the principles of tactile massage to create and enhance the bonding of family members in this modern age of cell phones, iPods, and the computer where touch is an increasingly neglected means of communication between loved ones. Informed and instructive, 'Home Massage' is enhanced with the inclusion of 239 black/white photos, 5 color photos, endnote, a bibliography, and an index. A thoroughly 'user friendly', illustrated, step-by-step instruction manual, 'Home Massage' is appropriate and recommended for personal and community library Health/Medicine reference collections." -The Midwest Book Review
