The variety of ideas in this book astounds me, but for a publication this large, I’m surprised there are several typos in the book. Nevertheless, the instructions are clear enough, generous guidance and with any craft book, you can take all the time in the world and no body is rushing you. Quilting has always been a favourite pass time for my mother grandmother and aunts. They have taught me some of the craft through generations passing of the skill. However, I find that this book was very appealing for them to learn new techniques, incorporate old with the new patterns available and make quilting a lot more fun than when I first learnt it as a child. Now my daughter is getting into it, and this book along with all the other modern publishings are the catalysts to igniting a passion for quilting. Highly recommended.
