A stunning book with loads of tips, ideas and inspiration. pictures of many styles of journals, and suggestions on different ways to start. the main thing is to start, and then continue regularly! this book will help you do that, and help you feel confident enough to continue doing so, well reccomended.

I love this book, just as much as i love the first book The Decorated Journal.
At first i was wary of buying both books, but it really is worth buying The decorated Journal AND this book- The Decorated Page.

This book is interesting to read as you get a look into a variety of other people's journal pages and there are little snippits of why they created the page the way they did, the layout and colours etc. A variety of different journal keepers from a naturalists journal, to a personal journal, travel journal etc. Also there are a few really interesting pages about journal keepers through history.

The really good part of this book though, is how i gives you step by step instructions on how to begin a page, the layout you might choose, colours, mediums to use on the pages etc. Lots of ideas i had not thought of before. And of course don't forget the pages and pages of inspiring images. Just a flick through this book had me wanting to paint and draw and collage.

If you are interested in writing, personalised pages, altered books, journalling, art, visual diarys or maybe even scrapbooking and making memory books and baby books i would say buy this book.

I am sure this is a lovely book - however do not purchase it from fishpond - I ordered and paid for a copy on the 12th June and am still waiting delivery! [It is now 3 July] Fishpond do not respond to emails enquiring where the product is and you cannot phone them. the service is absolutely shocking - so I recommend you go elsewhere!
