Some interesting information but nothing new from what any other financial advisor says. A little disjointed to read and at times confusing and repetitive to follow. Overall not a bad read but not really containing any thing different from what I already knew. Would have been a waste if it cost more than it does but you can get the same info from searching the internet for tips.
Whilst it is obvious that Anita Bell knows her subject, the content fell way short of the title. At no point was there any demonstration or worked examples as to how the sum of the tips actually "triple your returns in 3 years". I felt somewhat mislead.
I enjoyed this book and found it useful to read as I am currently considering purchasing my first investment property. evn though the market has changed this book was written I still found most of the advice to be simple to follow and relevant.
Its somewhat of a disappointment because it promotes conservative approaches to investment and can get you trapped on the slow track to financial freedom.
It disagrees with equity based approaches, especially property stacking, saying you should pay one off before getting another. While her argument means mum and dad investors wont get caught out, it also means they mightn't progress as far as is possible.
If you are unfamiliar with investing this is a good read. But if you have a solid knowledge base this book is unnecessary.
This is a great read for anyone who wants to buy an investment property, what to look out for, what traps to avoid and lots of hints and tips. Easy to read in an afternoon, it will inspire you to look an investment properties, and is an excellent guide, and just as good as her previous book. The book is quite inexpensive too, so a great investment in itself. Recommended for anyone who wants an no-nonsense, easy to read investment book without all the hype.
Anita Bell! You are amazing. I bought my first investment property at the age of 18, and doubled my money within 2 years. Anita gives practical advice in this book, that is easy to read, and easy to understand. I learnt about bank loans, interest, and what to look for in a property to make money. Anita, you have achieved so much, and helped so many with your books. Must read for those looking to get ahead in life.
