I have met many, many Kitchen Table Tycoons whose businesses just never seem to make sufficient money to justify the huge effort involved in running them.

A couple of years ago I was helping a group of Kitchen Table Tycoons create better businesses in between juggling a full time job as a partner at Deloitte and being Mum to three little boys. Short of time I went looking for a book to give the ladies. I couldn't find the one I was looking for so I wrote it. Here it is!

I wanted to create something that was fun to read yet practical, and contained advice that really worked.

I appreciate that for many women starting a business is a much more appealing, or practical, option than employment. So yy aim with this book is to help Kitchen Table Tycoons build businesses which are a genuine financial alternative to employment; and have fun in the process.
