– Customer review on 03/12/2006 This book is very, very funny. It's also mostly true. The authors lambast everything from television nutritionists to Tony Blair, IKEA to overpriced toast, and they do it all while sounding rather like One Foot In The Grave's Victor Meldrew -- if Victor was suffering from possibly the worst case of Tourette's syndrome ever. Entries are in alphabetical order and vary in length from one expletive-laden sentence to several pages, many of which will have you laughing uproariously. It's a not really a book you'd want to be showing to your Gran, or someone with delicate sensitivities when it comes to naughty words, but if you're anything like me, and exhibit an almost psychotic hatred of political correctness, corporate double-speak and general inanity, then you'll absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
