Spike Milligan's memoirs of his war experience. A more sombre tale than previous journal's but nonetheless his trademark wit and dark humour prevails. Sit ringside with laugh as Spike, Edginton and the rest of the 49th Battery experience Italian culture on their trip to Naples and the compulsory visit to the clinic afterwards. First class recount of the Italian mountains and the difficulties experienced by both sides.
