A French classic, this humorous and irreverent tale tells the story of a hungry little crocodile.
Sylviane Donnio began writing her first children's book at age eight, but stopped after about a dozen lines, promising herself she'd try again when she was bigger. After studying law and becoming a mother of three children, she kept her promise. She lives in France with her family and has written many books for children. Dorothee de Monfreid began to write stories and illustrate them with coloured pencils when she was at school. Now that she is bigger, she is a full-time author-illustrator, writing stories for French children about cats, bunnies, elephants, stinky monsters and even cake!
The appetizing mixture of domestic breakfast concerns and fierce child-eating monsters will leave children hungry for more. "I'd really like to read that book," parents may hear them say. -- Publishers Weekly
