The writer gives examples from her own experience and relates it to each of the different forms of sixth sense. She also tries to teach the reader by exposing the reader to different environments and "seeing" what is picked up and what isn't. Good practice if you want to go ahead to develop your own sixth sense.
There are a lot of books covering similar ground to this one, although they all do it very differently, of course. This one - just recently published - is one of the best in this field that I've ordered from fishpond, so if you're interested, take a few moments to have a look inside the book, so that you can decide for yourself.
The author begins with some 46 pages of what she’s called A Detailed Look at the Powerful Sixth Sense. After explaining what this means, she examines separately the different forms this can take: Clairvoyance (Clear Sight), Clairaudience (Clear Hearing), Claircognizance (Clair Knowing), Clairsentience (Clear Feeling) Clairtangency (Clear Touch), Clairolfaction (Clear Scent) and Clairgustance (Clear Taste). So many books only cover Clairvoyance thoroughly and just touch on the other ways in which psychic information can be conveyed if even mentioning them at all. Spellcheck certainly hasn’t heard of several of these! In each case, she offers both explanation and examples on her own experience.
The A to Z format of the rest of the book makes it a great reference book, one in which information will be easy to locate at any time, after you have read it. The book is also full of great exercises and advice for those wanting to further develop their psychic abilities. I’d unreservedly recommend it whether this will be your first book on the subject or whether you’ve read lots of other writers and are looking for someone experienced to offer you some new approaches or to reinforce what you already know.
