Having practised Calligraphy for nearly 40 years and especially illuminated work, I have used this book as an enormous tool for advancing this skill. It is well laid out with clear defining ages of illumination and their variations and you are taught how to replicate these styles in a clear manner.

This is a gorgeous book, with lots of creative ideas for letter design and illumination, and with excellent examples.
