At times this book gets bogged down in the superfluous details but overall it is very interesting. Since Nick Mason is the drummer it is easy to believe that what he is saying is the truth or at least based on real events. This is unlike much of journalism where it is completely speculative or blatantly fictitious. There are lots of pretty pictures as well. A must have for any floyd fan but would probably bore anyone who doesn't know the music.

This book offers insight into the ever mysterious and strange pink floyd. the kooky rock band who have been around for 3 decades has been shrouded in mystery and at times controversy. A great book for any person who is a fan of pink floyd, an eye opening read!

when looking at a band's biography, one must always keep in mind the movie almost famous. come on. how much can really deliever truth. but is there really any truth. if you look at it, who is pink floyd? is it a band, is it some dislexic person trying to spell flamingo. i dont know. but what i do know is that although you can never be certain. dont encourage doubt of the floyd through cyncial outlooks.
