About the Author

Victoria Stilwell began her career in the theatre but in 1990 switched over to found a dog training company in London. In 1999 she moved to New York, where she set up her own training school. She is a certified animal behaviourist and trainer, lectures widely, and is an advisor for a number of rescue organisations.

This is one of the best dog training books I have read! I'd buy this book for any new dog owner or anyone who wants to know how to manage their dogs challenging behaviour. It's extremely easy and enjoyable to read. It gives you a wonderful insight into a dogs point of view so it helps you understand what your dog is thinking and why it behaves as it does and it gives effective, easy and fun techniques for training a dog and managing challenging behaviour.

This is a great resource for any dog owner. Sometimes dogs take over our lives and act as if they are human. This books main lesson is for the dog owner to be top-dog and ensure that the dog knows its place and respects your property.
Some great lessons even for obedient pets
