This compact devotional is very gentle and warm in it's tone, inviting readers to focus each day on the calming presence of God. The emphasis is in putting aside the cares and worries of every day life and choosing to spend time focused on the peaceful presence of God, connecting with Him in prayer and journalling.
The devotional is quite small in size, so readers would probably benefit from also having a journal if they wished to record their thoughts and prayers each day. The Bible verses are listed as references only, so you would also need to have a Bible to look up the 2 - 3 references given each day.
This is a very gentle and encouraging devotional and would be a great gift for someone going through a time of particular trial or hardship.
