If you want to learn a little about a lot, this is certainly the classic book to have. The joy of sex is a book that covers a good amount on a lot of subjects, but if you are after something in depth, then this probably isn't the one for you. It is informational, more than instructional, if you ask me.

I read the original version some time ago and i preferred that. Though it mostly remains untouched there just seems to be this feeling of overview for the reader its a book for the new to the scene of sexual development or fainter hearted. Good illustrations though they were more effective in colour.
