This is the sixth installment of the Anita Blake novels and i would say it is my favourite, Anita finally makes her choice between Richard and Jean Claude. its full of action and You get to see alot more of the Werewolves,Although less zombie raising Which i didn't really miss. Loved seeing Edward being involved in this book too. Fans of Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books and Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson novel with enjoy this series.

The Killing Dance Review
The sixth book takes our resident animator into familiar and unfamiliar territory at the same time. Someone wants Anita dead, which is nothing new to her. What is new is that this person is hiring professional help to achieve this. When things get a little to hot she calls the only person she can trust to keep her safe, her old friend Edward. This was a great book where we finally see Anita chose between Richard and Jean Claude.

This book is absolutely fabulous. Laurell K Hamilton is a fabulous writer and I was totally able to feel for and with Anita during this great story. Richard and Anita finally seem to have everything going for them and then Laurell has a great twist. Number 6 in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Make sure you read the Anita Blake series in order as it helps you to get to know the characters and really feel for them.

I would have to say that this number of the series affected me the most, Hamiltons ability to discribe the scenes makes you feel that you are actually there. Anita and Richard are through a stage in their relationship and i felt that i was part of it and it affected me in a way that no other author has been able to do to me. i have been involved with the characters with other authors but only Hamilton has actually made me feel like Anita and feel her pain while she was going through this hurt. Love you Laurell keep up the good work!!!!

Laurell Hamilton's new installment of the further adventures of her compelling and fascinating necromancer and vampire huntress, the dimunitive Anita Blake is another high octane action ride. Anita has to defend herself against unknown assassins and is pitted against the equally terrifying werecreatures and denizens of the night. Another exciting story filled with Hamilton's blend of sizzling, erotic interludes and exciting action pieces. A great read.
