Both my 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter love this book (but more appealing to boys for sure). I remember it from when I was boy and was thrilled when I stumbled on it at FishPond.
The book takes you through life in the medieval times. My kids a fascinated by the little speech bubbles and the many different activities of the characters in the illustrations.
There is lots of scope for older kids as well with the extra reference text throughout the book.
