A great read for both mystery fans and knitting fans alike. We are introduced to our main character, Kelly when she arrives for the funeral of her dear aunt who was an avid knitter. Something just doesn't seem right to Kelly, and with the help of her aunt's knitting buddies they manage to get to the bottom of it all.
Delightfully written with an easy flowing style, Maggie Sefton manages to keep the interest levels up throughout her book. Brilliant descriptive scenes give the reader a real feel for the major location in the book, the wool shop Lambspun, where most of the knitting and brainstorming occurs.
I have just started the second in the series, and I am looking forward to the third becoming available soon too..

I found this book an absolute bore, as with most "cosy" fiction. If this is what life is like in small American towns I feel sorry for them. I read it in about an hour and that was a complete waste of my time. I certainly wouldn't bother reading anything else by this author, much as I like knitting and cooking.

I found this book quite a chore to read. I love to knit and I love yarn but it was so laboured that the story became very slow. I thought it had the potential to be exciting but I just got bored. I have the sequel but have decided to read another author to get some action. Who knows maybe the next one will be more exciting than the first. I certainly hope it is.

Great characters involved in yet another mystery. The knitting and yarn shop setting adds to the interest as any yarn and thread lover will enjoy the descriptions of the contents of the shop. This book is a great one for a "lazy day" reading activity.

I found this book to be a delightful read. I enjoyed the delicious descriptions of the yarn and the wonderful scenery.
I liked it's easy to read style and raced through it in a couple of days. I couldn't put it down.
The second book was just as good.
