Covering all the areas of art that as teachers we often shy away from for lack of skill and understanding of how to effectively implament them. This book covers various art techniques, from Painting & Drawing to Clay & Wire. Giving you step by step guides of how to set up the environment and pointers about how to extend and talk with the children in a way that will maximise their artistic abilities. A great book for all teachers of the early years!

This is an incredible book, the most amazing methodologies for teaching young children some art techniques which will help them to develop as young artists without overpowering their natural tendency to experiment. I've used this book with my grandchildren and with my junior primary classes and found it to be equally beneficial on a large or small scale. If you have young children in your life and a love of art, this book is a must.

This is a "must have" book. Looking into different aspects of art activities being carried in a learning environment helped me to understand how to extend children learning and development especially with the "open-ended" questions.
