I am so happy I found this book here. I really loved this story when i was a child and have nicknamed my eldest boy ferdinand as he has the personality little ferdinand to a tee.I have been searching everywhere but have been told it is out of print. An old time classic
This is one of the few books I remember vividly from my early childhood. It is a delightful classic that all children should read or have read to them. I bought it to read to my grandchildren and for my children to read as well as to read it again myself.
This is a really lovely story of a gentle bull named Ferdinand. Instead of aspiring to be in the bull fights, he likes to sit and smell flowers. It also indroduces bits of Spanish culture. The illustrations are intricate black and white drawings. My children love to hear it time and again.
