I purchased this book while completing the CELTA course. It is very useful for this course and as a must-have for all teachers of ESL. It's very comprehensive and covers almost all areas of importance from classroom management, lesson planning, language analysis and phonology.
The book offers practical advice for teaching different skills, using different tools, techniques and activities. The companion DVD contains real footage of lessons, which came in handy, especially in the duration of the CELTA course. I highly recommend this book as a resource for any new teacher.
