A wonderful book. I would give it 6 stars if I could. This tells the story of a librarian in Basra who managed to save many of the books from the town library by hiding them in her own home and the homes of her family and neighbours. A wonderful book to start discussions with your children about the effects of war beyond the obvious death and injuries. Highly recommended.
