We've heard a lot about the Very Hungry Caterpillar from friends and our baby finally get to own her own! We are expecting another child this year and this will be a very good addition to our children's library collection.

these are great little books. they are small so fit easily into the little ones hands and the bright colours captivate their imaginations and interest.

Great pocket size board books which are easy for baby to read with bright coloured pictures to attract baby's eye. Very good Baby's first learning books.

Thank you for all the books you have sent to me recently but have been in hospital for over a month and have only just returned so have not been able to give them as gifts as planned but they will be here to stay at the weekend so will give them to Owen then although he is only one he loves books and has a story everynight before bed so they will be good and he likes turning the pages. The little learning library is fantastic for my 16 month old who is coming out with all sorts of new words. She goes through each book and tells me all about each page. What she doesn't know, she's quickly learning!

I have always loved this story as a child. So was naturally pleased to receive this as a gift for my boys. They both love the story and the little holes where they always poke their fingers through. Unfortunately being paper, it hasn't lasted too long in my household so I have purchased the board book version (which is much better for my now 18mth old) which can take quite a beating. It's a wonderful storybook with delightful colours, teaching days of the week and basic counting and food types. A truly classic book.

Absolutely great book for the children, the Very Hungry Catepillar range is a fantastic book to read with the children. Very educational mini books are categorized: numbers, colours, worlds and animal sounds. Bright colours are used, great attraction to the children.

Recommended by an early childhood teacher.

A great resource for both teaching and for your own children.

The very hungary catipillar is an australian classic and it is great to see the fantastic artwork used in this way. I think this would make a lovely first present for a new mum as it is quite diffrent from the usual number and colour books out there and being board books they are sure to last the distance through a number of children. Kids absorb so much even when they are infants. I am going to keep this one up my sleve for the next baby shower or christening I have to go to.
