Anh and his wife, SUZANNE DO, have written The Little Refugee in response to the vast numbers of people who have read The Happiest Refugee and pleaded for a version for children. They are donating all royalties earned from The Little Refugee to an orphanage in Vietnam. BRUCE WHATLEY is one of Australia's best-loved and most-respected author-illustrators. Bruce has illustrated over forty books to date, including the enormously successful and award-winning Diary of a Wombat, written by Jackie French, and its companion volumes.
