We have been looking for a good travel guide geared towards younger children. This is a wonderful choice. It introduces the child to London in an easy to read format - each attraction/aspect is explained over 2 pages with pictures and small areas of description/explanation. Our children will have a wonderful appreciation of a new city, its points of interest and on leaving a memento to recall places visited. Perfect!
This book is a great addition to anyones little library. It is a very imformative book but is easy to read a it is not solid long text, instead it is little chunks of knowledge. It also has pictures and funny little text bubbles near peolples mouths. This book is colourful, interesting and gets you waiting for the next page! I LOVE IT!!!
I agree completely with the previous review. I purchased London and Rome for my 11yo daughter and I think my husband and I got just as much out of them. The history part is presented in a fun manner, and we all learned something. This series has really ignited an interest to know more from all members of my family. Have also purchased Paris as a result, which is still to arrive. Most highly recommended.
