I would recommend reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series in order as each book deals with the life of one of the "brothers" and the love of their life. Lover Eternal is a favourite of mine because it deals with Rhage and what's not to love about Rhage?? He sounds gorgeous. These books are an exciting and erotic read ' great fun! Enjoy.

After reading the first novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood I couldn't wait to read this novel - and I certainly wasn't let down! Rhage and Mary are the basis for this story. Rhage is a vampire and one of the best fighters of the brotherhood. Rhage has been cursed and lives with a beast inside of him who breaks free when Rhage's emotions run high. Mary Luce is human who tames both Rhage and his beast. Fast paced and fill of romance. Can't wait for the next novel and Zsadist's and Bella story.

This second book in the BDB is even better than the first and that's saying something considering the first one was amazing!

I have read all that are release now and can't wait for John's tale! Must say, as much as I have fallen in love with all the brothers, Hollywood is the one that got into my heart hence why I love this book so much!

These series are definitely much more adult which is such a breather for the good, thou typical teenage high school vampire series that keep coming out.

The action, the drama and the intense love stories in these series are a must read! TRUST ME! :D

this series is soooo addictive, I loved this book, Rhage is extremely cool and I really rated Mary as she seems so 'normal'. Also introduces Zadist and Bella, and they are brilliant.

I didn't think I could enjoy any of the other brothers story as much as Wrath however it didn't take long to also become completely engrossed with Rhage and Mary. These books are hot, hot, Hot!!!! After reading twilight and then the Sookie Stackhouse series I was searching for something similar but new, highly recommend these to anyone 18+.

I loved this book, the second installment in the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Rhage is most definitey my favourite brother so far, although I am intrigued by Vishous and look forward to reading his story.
These are captivating books and have you hooked at the first read. If you have something really important to do, don't pick up any of the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, as you won't be able to put it down.
Well written, erotic but not smutty or vulgar. I think deep down, we all wish we could be loved like that. There is an underlying vein I guess, the notion of unconditional love.

You have to buy these books they are simply fanstastic. I was dissapointed when i started reading this one to find that it has gone on to other characters but now i dont mind at all and since i have finished reading the series it makes each book new and different while keeping touch with the old people that made us fall in love with the books. One of the best things about this writter is that she doesnt go over and over the old stuff in the old books and so it doesnt get boring. Yay for these books. If you are a twilight fan then yes you will love these but for a different reasons that are simply fantastic

I didn’t think JR Ward could possibly out do herself after Dark Lover.... and she has with this book!

This book is about the gorgeous brother Rhage (aka Hollywood) and his human love interest Mary. It also introduces us to John Matthew, the young pre-trans born without a voice box!

I laughed and cried in this one. I’m in love with every single brother, I couldn’t possibly pick one I like more than the other.... I hope someday JR makes these books into movies :-)

Wasn't even a quarter thru the first book when I order this one & Lover Awakened. Am so in love with this series. JR Ward creates a world that draws you in & gives you one hell of a hot ride. I love the way she weaves 2-3 stories effortlessly togther with gorgeous male leads, strong women who love them & creepy enemies. This tells of the tale of the womaniser Rhage & the woman who not only tamed him but is inner beast he was cursed with. Sets up the story of Zsadist & Bella which continues in the Lover Awakened as well as the human John Matthew who may be a warrior in the Brotherhood. This has become my favourite series hungry for more.

OMG, I didnt know how J.R. Ward was going to follow her fantastic first novel in the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Dark Lover, but she pulled it off big time with Lover Eternal. It follows
on from Dark Lover so I suggest that you read that book first (I think there are 6 books so far)
Lover Eternal is sexy, erotic, in parts sometimes very funny (Rhage and Butch in the shower is
hilarious.) Overall this book is just a great read, the characters are very easily related to
even though most of them are vampires, do yourself a favour and get a copy of these books. The
next book in the series is Lover Awakened and it's my pick for the best in the series.
