Marie-Line André began to sew, knit and crochet at the age of six. By the time she started high school, she was making sweaters and other garments, adopting a colorful vintage style. She crocheted increasingly delicate lace doilies, and finally learned Irish crochet--a technique that requires patience and discipline. In 2013, after working for years as a teacher, Marie-Line created an online store, Purple Purple Wool and Blog. She likes to offer nice color combinations to her clients. In 2014, she joined the editorial staff of the magazine Knitting Passion, and now divides her time between family, her boutique, and the magazine.
