I will admit that i have not read the My Royal Story version of Mary, Queen of Scots, but i have read the Royal Diaries version, and i do indeed believe that they are exactly the same, minus the front cover. My opinion on Mary, Queen of Scots is that it is indeed another fantastic book by Kathryn Lasky, but that it really wasn't the best or near the best in the series. But still worth the read.
