The book is tailored towards novice to intermediate trainees looking to improve strength, covering the basics of warm-up, training and nutrition with detailed explanations, anecdotes and diagrams where appropriate. It includes a 12-week training program that can be done at any decent gym.

Eric Cressey (author) is one of the leading strength and conditioning coaches in the world and practices what he preaches.

I would recommend this book for anyone interested in improving strength for sport or general purposes that has at least a small amount of weight training experience under their belt.
