This book retreats slightly from Carl Jungs writtings and work, and covers more of his interesting life story, telling the long tale of the journey he took to become the man he was. Starting from when he was just a young boy, we are told entertaining stories that are slightly odd, but fascinating. From an early age he became obsessed with philosophy and mythology, and also with certain aspects of the world around him like religion.

A very interesting life story read, with afterthoughts near the end of the book of Carl Jung on his own life, and the remaining thoughts he had before his passing. A very interesting read.
