I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. Even if you haven't read any other book in In Death series it is very easy to get into them and understand. Even if you have read them all you still want to read them again. You will get into the story and caracters Eve, Roarke and everybody, very easily.

JD Robb (aka Nora Roberts) writes a truly fabulous series "In Death". They don't have to be read in order but you may find yourself buying the lot and then re-reading them that way! Midnight in Death is a short story that is enjoyable and is a Christmas story. Eve Dalls, Roarke and the rest of the characters (most of whom feature in all of this series) are truly entertaining.

I love the continuity of the J D Robb series and have them all. The characters become part of your family and the struggle between the justice defender of Eve and the ex criminal natural justcie of Roarker. All the books stand alone and many of the secondary characters are as valuable to the story as the leads. Another excellent read - stand alone but more connected with the rest of the series.

Who could think such a tiny book could pack such a big punch!

Still at her best, J.D Robb jumps right in the deep end with this one, but how can Eve keep running on empty? Surely, she has to burn out soon. Can back-to-back homicides extinguish Eve's passionate police flame?
