We bought this for our daughter hoping it would help her gain a better grasp of maths. A subject that she does not particularly like. This has proven to be a great choice. She actively chooses to do work from within the book. The set up of units of work, with sections within the units, allows her to work on smaller chunks of maths problems over the course of a week. She also likes the ability to self rate her achievements at the start of the book. This is where she records the number of correct responses in each section of each unit and then states how she feels she went with her performance!
