About the Author
Catriona Hall studied Architecture for several years, then trained as a teacher and moved to Tasmania in 1975. She began making toys and dolls in 1976 and by 1979 had her first exhibition. Catriona started collecting dolls' house miniatures in 1979 and started to make dolls' house people at the same time, it took 15 years for them to take over completely. Since that time she has exhibited work in USA, UK (Birmingham) and Australia). She is represented in collections in UK, USA, Europe and Australia

Ms Hall's methods teach you how to make the tiniest of garments using traditional sewing techniques, rather than the more common glued method. Many of them are lined yet retain the correct scale, and she makes it easy to achieve by anyone who has basic hand sewing skills.
