Vidyavathi is presently serving as Professor and Head in the Department of Biotechnology, NMAMIT, Nitte, Karnataka. She obtained her M.Phil in Bioscience with specialization in Microbiology and PhD in Biochemical Energy from Mangalore University. She has been teaching and conducting research for the past 18 years. Vidyavathi has authored a book "Cell Biology and Genetics". She has also published papers in National and International Journals of repute. She is a member of BOS for B.E in Biotechnology at Vishweshwara Technical University (VTU). D. M. Chetan is Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology Engineering NMAMIT Nitte, Karnataka. He has specialization in Biotechnology. He is an author of "Health and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology", a textbook. He is a life member of ISTE Chapters. Currently, he is Pursuing PhD from Kuvempu University, Shimoga; Readership: Graduate and postgraduate students of all streams of Life Sciences.
