About the Author

Caryn Andersen is a Social Worker who is passionate about children's safety. She is currently in private practice and specialises in working with children, adolescents and their families. Caryn has spent many years working in the child protection field, both government and non-government in Australia and the U.K. Melanie Howe is a Psychologist who specialises in working with children and adolescents. For the past ten years she has worked in the child protection field as a therapist, consultant and trainer. Melanie has written and been involved in the development and delivery of various protective behaviour initiatives to indigenous and non-indigenous communities in Queensland.
