My Paris Sketchbook captures the essence of this elegant city so well I felt transported back to those very places!As an avid plein air artist, I was inspired to get back out there and record my travels in visual form by these simple but exquisite drawings which are often recorded from an unexpected, unconventional viewpoint.I particularly loved the pencil sketch of the woman in sunglasses with watercolour reflections of notre dame in both lenses and the city by night paintings - especially the silhoutted lovers depicting the spell of Paris.A great book for the avid traveller or artist... in my case both, so suits me perfectly!
