I have just finished reading this story to my 8 year old duaghter, she loved it. It has good behavior themes without overdoing it. It stimulated convesation between the two of us about relationships with school friends.
We have order the next story in the series.

a great read! my mother read this book to me when i was a child, and i really really loved it! it is about a girl called elizabeth, who is sent away to boarding school, and decides that she will hate it, and not give it a chance. she is mean to everyone there, and gets a rep for being naughty, which she wants as she thinks it will get her sent home. a great read!
