The Trailsman finds himself up against bad guys who want to do him in for the most trivial reasons as not liking the way he looks, which he handles competently enough but he finds himself more than challenged when facing the insane religious fanatic Terrible Jack Slade, who spouts Bible verses of hellfire and damnation to those he deems evil, which is virtually, everyone he meets, including Fargo himself.
