I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a great read and written very well. I think even if you aren't that interested in feminism that you could still enjoy reading this book. However the author includes a lot of interesting info and opinions and stories about feminism and she makes some very solid arguments.

This was the first book i have read on the topic, but it has encouraged me to read more books about feminism. The great thing about this book is that even though it is a relativley new book it still gives enough of a background about the history of feminism but dosen't get too bogged down in the details, so someone with no idea about the history of feminism can still get a lot out of this book.

This book answered a lot of questions for me about how and why girls are now wanting to 'have sex like men' and how the whole raunch culture is encouraged by women and why this may be. The author tries to resolve the issue of how women have gone from the starting point of feminism in the 60's and 70's, and sexual liberation and now seem to want to exploit themselves and are more than willing to do it.

The book touches on topics such as the new exercise fad of doing a 'workout routine' that is pole dancing or strip tease. The whole 'girls gone wild' LIVE! thing where girls are flashing their chests at tv cameras etc. It discusses the changes in both the straight and lesbian community and their respective cultures and attitudes to sex. Also some fantastic info and insights into the whole Playboy 'bunny' franchise.

Interesting. Informative. I will definatley read this book again. Great intro into feminism.
