Reviews

""Whether you're a seasoned military spouse or a newbie, you should check out the latest installment of the 'Now You Tell Me!' book series: '12 Army Wives Give the Best Advice They Never Got.' It's really 13 wives, because Beth Chiarelli provides personal insights in an 18-page prologue. She lived the military life for more than 40 years before her husband, former Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Chiarelli, retired about a year ago. And if you're of the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard persuasion and think these insights are service-specific...well you should know better. So many aspects of a military spouse's life - moving, career maintenance, deployments, all while nurturing children - are so similar across the services."" - Karen Jowers, Army Times ""After 12 years as an Army Wife I have that attitude of been there done that, what can anyone tell me now? Well apparently a whole lot!"" - Celeste, blogger, Army Wife 101 ""As an Army Wife of 5 years, even I learned something new. I had the opportunity to stand in their {the wives} shoes and see how they handle varying situations. I even caught my husband flipping through the book. He said, ""It made me look at things I don't normally think about from the Soldier's perspective."" So, whether you are Soldier, new to being an Army Wife or have been an Army Wife for some time, I recommend getting the book. You'll definitely bond with the personal stories shared "" -Jenn, Founder of the Army Wives Club blog ""This book is a great collection of stories from real Army Wives. From their experiences marrying a soldier to deployments to helping children through the Military life. There is a lot of great advice in this book from those who have been through all sorts of challenges with the Army. Each of the wives have a different background and different experience as an Army wife. I liked hearing the different perspectives."" - Julie, blogger, Army Wife Crazy Life "" After reading the book there is so much I learned that I did not know."" - Jen Lyon, blogger, Lyon Party of 4 ""Now you tell me! 12 Army Wives Give The Best Advice They Never Got is like sitting down with a group of women who have been through it all and having them share their advice and knowledge. When I sat down to read this book, I finished it in a single day. I could not put it down! I could identify with each of the women in one aspect of their lives or another. It is amazing that even though different decades and wars so many military spouses can share the same experiences. I am so glad I had the chance to read this book, I only wish it would have been written years ago!"" - Ramblings of a Caffeinated Army Wife Blog
